Describe Yourself

Julie Civiello Polier, holistic esthetician and face reader. I teach you how to massage your face to heal your organs and energy meridians! I work virtually so I get to talk with you beautiful folks all over the globe from my living room in sunny Los Angeles, California.

When Was the Last Time You Felt Truly Inspired?

I was driving in my car and was sparked by the most brilliant idea of a new launch!! These videos that offer face lifting techniques with the wisdom of face mapping ~ so you can recode your memories, support your organs, while contouring and toning your face, all at your own pace!! And I just launched these tutorial videos on my site, so they’re ready for you!!

What Do You Value Most About Yourself and Why?

I value my fierce tenderness. I am devoted to a soft way of relating to myself and to life. And I’ve truly eliminated a tolerance to anything less than kindness in relationships.

What’s One Thing You Believe People Overlook in Their Pursuit of Happiness?

Well, I can speak for myself that I have had to develop patience and trust with timing so far as choosing happiness!! I often want all the miracles, abundance, and dreams to fall into place right now already! And what’s become so clear is the timeline of things is always perfect and right on time. We get to choose happiness now, exactly as things look, without a single change. When we release the attachments to lack and scarcity, that’s when our dreams really fall into place so quickly.

What Does 'Wellbeing' Mean to You?

Wellbeing for me is about greeting each day as it is and greeting myself as I am. Asking in the moment what would feel good and doing/being my best to honor that, whether it’s a nap instead of a run or a midday bath between clients or podcast engagements. I’ve found that tossing the long list and regimen I used to have felt burdensome and rigid and after a bit it became a chore list.

How Has Water Played a Role in Your Life?

I relate to water knowing it has consciousness and can hold feelings, thoughts, and memories as we’ve seen in Morimoto’s and Veda Austin’s work. I grew up in oceans and lakes in Maine and actually have always resided in a coastal town. Remaining connected to water as well as living near a large body feels a part of my identity. There is a beautiful Rhune stone staying that goes something like, Be like water: when there is an obstacle do not get stuck on it, go around it and flow on. Because I grew up in Maine where the air and water are pristine I’ve been dedicated to filtering our bathing water and sinks while living in Los Angeles the last 15 years with the finest filters, WELLVERTI being a go-to a favorite and I drink AliveWaters, which is from Oregon springs and rivers that come into contact with agate and so many pure minerals.
